The Dark Knight Returns To PC With New Release Date

It took awhile but finally, Rocksteady Studios and WB Games are ready to bring back Batman to PC with the re-release of Batman: Arkham Knight. The new (re)release date is now October 28th and will come with all the DLCs that PC players have missed out on, since the game’s release.

Plagued with numerous issues, the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight launched to a rocky start. Players were reporting numerous frame rate issues and glitches that are to the extent of being unplayable. The performance was so bad, that WB Games had to suspend sales of the game with Steam offering refunds for those that purchased the game digitally. Because of the game being suspended, players had to miss out on DLCs, (such as the Batgirl DLC) that was released since.

But now, PC players can expect to jump back into Gotham as the Dark Knight and finish the trilogy started by Rocksteady. To clarify the re-release of the game, a WB rep released the following statement on their Steam page:

“At 10 am PDT, Oct, 28th, Batman: Arkham Knight will be re-released for the PC platform. At the same time, we’ll also be releasing a patch that brings the PC version fully up-to-date with content that has been released for consoles (with the exception of console exclusives).”

Players that have brought the game earlier on and didn’t opt for a refund can expect a patch day-and-date to solve any lingering issues that had caused the game to be unplayable. New players or re-purchasing players can expect plenty of content to be bundled with Batman: Arkham Knight which includes extra story missions, new character skins, and also new tracks for the Batmobile challenges.
