The Division’s New Trailer Shows Off It’s Stunning Gameplay

The Division is one of the most anticipated titles from Ubisoft that’s coming out soon. With the level of anticipation for it, it’s hardly a surprise that when a leaked Italian version of its new trailer caught fire. It was soon removed but the damage was done and Ubisoft decided that it as release the new trailer officially.

If you haven’t seen it, let us sum it up in one word: Glorious. Take a look at the trailer below for yourself:

The trailer itself gave us a good look at some the game mechanics such as weapon customization and new locations. There’s also hints of the game’s story element, the most we’ve seen so far. Probably the biggest takeaway from the trailer itself is how good the game looks. From the desolate streets to the bases that your characters build up and populate, The Division is on the right path of reaching the same hype it did when it was first revealed on 2013’s E3.

For those that haven’t kept up with The Division, here’s a refresher. The Division is a massively multiplayer online third-person shooter set in a mid-crisis New York, that is an open world with destructible environments. Due to a virus outbreak, New York city has transcended into chaos and it is up to a group of self-supported tactical agents called the “Strategic Homeland Division”, or “The Division” for short, to help search for supplies and keep hostile forces at bay.

The Division Latest Trailer

Originally slated for 2014 release, The Division was delayed twice by Ubisoft until they finally settled with the current release date of March 8th, 2016. While it can be upsetting to have a game as hotly anticipated as The Division get delayed multiple times, in the end, it all paid off as the trailer is definitely living up the hype since the 2013’s E3 reveal.

Rumors started appearing last week that the beta for The Division might come in January, which points towards Ubisoft finally wrapping up the production on The Division. Hopefully, there won’t be any more delays and gamers can finally get their hands on The Division.

The Division is set for release on March 8th, 2016 and will come to PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. Pre-order the game now to get in on the beta. Need to top on your platforms of choice?
