The One S Is A Slimmer And Sleeker Xbox Model From Microsoft

Microsoft finally unveiled the latest Xbox One model with the Xbox One S during its E3 Press Conference. Priced at $299 (for the 500GB version), the smaller console sports a few technical improvements over its predecessor.

For starters, it no longer requires a power brick, it comes with a new controller that connects via Bluetooth, and it is capable of running games and video in HDR while supporting 4K for videos on Netflix, Amazon Video, and 4K Blu-ray.

If you don’t own a Xbox One, the One S looks to be a compelling purchase to jump into the Xbox One ecosystem. If you already have a Xbox One, you might want to hold until Project Scorpio comes out, sometime next year.

The Xbox One S will be available in August 2016.
