Microsoft has revealed the lineup of four free games for March, and Xbox Live Gold subscribers can begin to download and play the new group of titles this week. Two games on Xbox One and another two on Xbox 360 games are playable on both consoles, thanks to the backward compatibility.
On Xbox One, the twisted psychological horror game, Layers of Fear, will be free to play for the whole month of March. In addition, the first-person shooter Evolve Ultimate Edition will be available from March 16th to April 15th. Players can play as the prey or the hunter in this fast-paced adrenaline pumping shooter.
Gearbox Software’s critically-acclaimed open-world first-person shooter, Borderlands 2, is playable from March 1st to March 15th. Heavy Weapon, a side-scrolling shooter will be available from March 16th to March 31st.
