Xbox One To Allow Universal Windows 10 App Usage

Microsoft looks to be building up the Xbox One as being a Windows 10-friendly device with the latest report from Gamespot. In a statement from Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Xbox One owners can look forward to more Windows 10 app usages coming to the console soon.

Xbox One Universal Apps

The release of the New Xbox One Experience last year made it possible for the console to run Windows 10 apps but no app has come over. While Nadella did not mention which apps will make its way to the console, two big candidates would probably be the Microsoft Word and Excel.

Of course, using a controller for Word or Excel can be a handful, which is why Xbox Head Phil Spencer mentioned that Keyboard and Mouse could be making its way to Xbox One as well.
